SEABAT – 2nd Academic Workshop

We are pleased to provide an update on the Second Academic Workshop held at Politecnico di Torino in Torino. The workshop brought together PHD students, researchers, and industry partners, creating a vibrant platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration. Day 1 commenced with an inspiring introduction by Michele Pastorelli, setting the stage for an intellectually stimulating event. Attendees were treated to captivating presentations that sparked thought-provoking discussions and facilitated the exploration of innovative ideas.

Building upon the momentum of the first day, Day 2 of the workshop proved to be equally remarkable. The morning began with a warm welcome and invigorating coffee, creating an ideal atmosphere for a day filled with insightful sessions and meaningful interactions.

During the Academic Seminar Session 2, esteemed experts shared their profound knowledge and expertise on diverse topics, including modular battery module development, materials considerations in battery housing design, and safety requirements for batteries. Parallel sessions offered participants the opportunity to delve into various research areas and engage in stimulating discussions, fostering a collaborative environment.

Furthermore, attendees had the privilege of visiting Politecnico di Torino’s state-of-the-art research facilities, including the Power Electronics and Electrical Drives Laboratory, Electrochemistry Lab, and Energy Storage Testing facilities. These visits provided firsthand experiences of the cutting-edge research being conducted at the institute.

The day culminated in a dynamic poster session, where attendees had the chance to interact with ongoing research projects and exchange ideas. This platform facilitated collaboration and knowledge sharing among the brilliant minds in attendance, further propelling the advancement of energy storage technologies.
