SEABAT at TRA Conference

The TRA Conference was held in Lisbon from the 14th until the 17th of November. This is the largest European Research and Technology Conference dedicated to transport and mobility. There were over 2000 participants, +600 speakers and +60 exhibitors present and among them there was also a delegation of the SEABAT project present.

On the 16th of November, SEABAT was part of a session together with other EU funded H2020 projects specifically on waterborne transport as seen in Figure 1. In this session, the latest research and development results were demonstrated. This was done by sharing synergies between electrification to reduce GHG and the vision to support the safety of passengers through a total solution for the evacuation of large passenger ships. The goal of the session was to create a collaborative communication space for all three projects where each projecct could share their respective aims, objectives and latest results.
